Our society is a place with people of diverse values, customs, cultures, and convictions.
It is normal for disputes to arise, ranging from common “noise” to more complex issues such as Matrimonial, commercial, and employment matters.
Some of these disputes are taken to our overburdened judicial system, which is costly. It neither provides a quick resolution nor produces a satisfactory outcome for both parties in a dispute.
Mediation is a form of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
It is a process to discuss the problems, positions and interests, and reach mutually acceptable agreements with the help of a "Trained Impartial Mediator.”
Mediation keeps the contesting parties in control of resolving their dispute, rather than a third party imposing a judgment on them.
Mediation is “Confidential,” and there is "No Public Disclosure” of problems or resolutions the parties reach with each other.
Mediation is a voluntary process for anyone hoping to resolve a dispute in a fast and credible manner at a fraction of the litigation cost.
Mediation is highly effective even when communication has broken down and emotions are running high.
Mediators are Attorneys or non-attorney neutral facilitators with distinct abilities to help people examine their situation in terms of their needs and interests.
Mediators are neither Judges nor jurors. They don't assign blame, take sides, impose decisions, or give legal advice.
